Iranian dignitary: Syria, Iran under pressure

"Syria and Iran's rejection of the foreign diktats is the reason behind campaigns of pressure against them," an Iranian senior official said Saturday.
In a statement to Iranian News Agency IRNA, Deputy Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee at the Iranian Shura Council Mahmoud Mohammadi, said America seeks to strengthen Israel at the expense of the region's states, asserting that Israel is threatening security in the region. Regarding Lebanon, Mohammadi underscored importance of the Lebanese unity to block foreign intervention.
