Foreign Arabs are tried in Iraq

The central criminal court in Baghdad sentenced some 15 accused men over entering Iraq illegally, having weapons and "supporting the terrorist operations."
The Interim government said in a statement that the central criminal court issued imprisonment sentences ranging between 5 to 12 years against accused persons of entering the country illegally.
Sentences were also issued one and two years imprisonment of those with whom unlicensed weapons were found. The statement indicated that among the 15 convicted men are 4 Saudis, three Syrian and one Yemeni while the other 7 are Iraqis.
