AL chief: Syria reacted positively

Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa on Tuesday described the latest move adopted by Syria regarding the two-phased troop withdrawal to the Lebanese eastern region of Bekaa, then to the Syrian-Lebanese border as a positive step and a commitment to implement the Taif Accord.
"The Syrian move came as a response to the requirements of the UN resolution 1559 .. work will be continued during the next stage to reach the demanded pullback," Moussa said during a meeting with British Foreign Office Minister of State Baroness Simons.
