Lebanese opposition delegation in Brussels regarding Syrian presence

In a new development, a Lebanese parliamentary delegation representing all Lebanese opposition sides visits Brussels and Paris this week in order to explain the demands of the opposition over the complete Syrian withdrawal from Lebanon and the formation of an interim government and the file of the late Lebanese prime Minister Rafic Hariri.

The delegation which is due to include 9 members is to meet in Brussels on Wednesday with the higher policy representative for the EU foreign policy Javier Solana and on Friday in Paris with the French foreign minister Michael Barnier and the foreign affairs committee at the Senate and the national society in the French parliament.

The delegation will be joined later by the Druz parliamentarian Walid Junblat after talks he held on Tuesday in Germany with the German foreign minister Yushka Fischer.
