Moussa urges Quartet to act firmly vis-a-vis Israeli settlement policy

Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa called yesterday on the International Quartet to deal firmly with the real dangers resulting from the Israeli expansionist policy.
At a meeting in Cairo Monday with the European peace envoy to the Middle East Marc Otte, Moussa asserted the need for facing up to the continued construction of the West Bank separation barrier and the Israeli settlement activities. Such policies would undermine efforts exerted to establish an independent Palestinian state, warned Moussa.
