Sudan, Politics, 3/7/2005

Some 70 main leaders representing the Sudan People's Liberation Army (southern rebels) which is headed by John Garang will arrive in Khartoum. The delegation will be led by the communications officials in the movement Neyal Diniq. The visit came with the aim of actual implementation for the peace agreement between the government and the movement signed on January 9th in Kenya.

The spokesman for the government, and minister of information Abdul Baser Sabdarat said that the delegation, which includes seven of the People's movement leadership commission, in addition to visiting Khartoum will also visit the two areas of Blue Nile south and al-Nouba mountain.

Meantime, it was announced in Khartoum that a delegation representing the government will head by the end of this week to Kenya's capital. The delegation includes four committees ( Eibi area committee, provisional work labor committee, the committee in charge of dealing with other forces and the information committee) in order to meet with the movement and remove all obstacles hindering the implementation of the agreement and consultations on the formation of the interim constitution committee.
