Egyptian parliament and al-Assad's speech

Egyptian Parliament stressed Sunday that Syria's decision to withdraw its forces from Lebanon stems from its keenness on realizing joint interests of both states.
Arab Affairs Committee at the Parliament underlined in a statement the importance of enhancing dialogue and cooperation based on historic links and joint interests between the two states. The committee also called on the international community for compelling Israel to comply with the base of achieving the just and comprehensive peace in the region by withdrawing from the occupied Syrian Golan.
