Shalgam: AU rejects any foreign intervention to solve Darfur crisis

Libyan Secretary of Foreign Liaison and International Cooperation Abd Al-Rahman Shalgam yesterday underlined that the African Union (AU) rejected any foreign intervention to solve the problem of western Sudanese region of Darfur.
In statements after having participated in the 123rd session of the Arab Foreign Ministers council held in Cairo Thursday at the Arab League HQ, Shalgam said that contacts and consultations with Egypt were sustained to solve the Darfur crisis.
