A new border center between Syria and Jordan

Syrian-Jordanian Border Nasib center is considered one of the vital projects in Syria due to its large size, the importance of its location, a report by SANA said.
"It is considered the southern gate that joins Syria with Jordan and the Arab Gulf states as well some Asian countries," the report noted.
The border center of Nasib compounds could contain more than 3,000 tourist cars and trucks at one time.
Directorate of services at the center supplies needed services to 30,000 passenger a day as it started since March 2002 to provide the unified pass book for cars registered in Syria, Lebanon and Jordan and adopted as a unified document for cars movement among the three Arab states.
"The total coast of the center get at SP billion and 250,000. It is accomplished by Syrian companies," an official at the center told SANA.
The center is situated on the international Auto Street linking Damascus and Amman near the Syrian-Jordanian free trade zone. It is 20 km far from Dara the main southern Syrian city near Jordanian borders. It stretches over Dunum to include 8 buildings.
