Lahoud calls for inter Lebanese national dialogue

Lebanese President Emile Lahoud has stressed the necessity for all the parties to raise themselves to the level of national responsibility and commit themselves to the national principles that have protected and fortified Lebanon's position and have returned to it its role at the regional and international forums.
During his meeting on Friday with various political personalities and members of parliaments, Lahoud said that if the Lebanese people want a homeland capable of facing the challenges that are threatening it, they should reach solutions as a result of calm and objective dialogue.
He stressed that no one can give priority to the interests of foreigners so that the Israeli aspirations for having a weak Lebanon can be fulfilled.
