Al-Jafaari consults with the Kurds

The candidate for the post of the prime minister in Iraq, Ibrahim al-Jaafari, started his consultations on Tuesday with the Kurdish officials over the future of the political operation in the country.

Al-Jafaari arrived, on top of a delegation that included five members in the list of the coalition which comes on top of the Iraqi elections in Salah Eddine resort, to the headquarters of the leaders of the Kurdistani Democratic party Masoud al-Barazani.

For his part, the human rights minister in Kurdistan district government Muhammad Ihsan said that the aim of the visit is to hold consultations with the leadership of the Kurdistani Democratic party and other sides in the list of the Kurdistani coalition which occupied the second position in the elections.

At the meantime, the three lists which won the general elections, which are the united Iraqi coalition list, the Kurdistani coalition and the Iraqi list are currently making consultations to maintain coalition among themselves.
