Jordan-Israel, Politics, 3/1/2005
The spokeswoman for the Jordanian government Asmaa Khuder said that a nearby visit by the Jordanian King Abdullah to Israel is not ruled out. The Israeli daily Haartez quoted the Joranian prime minister Faisal al-Fayez as saying in a meeting with the Arab parliamentarians in the Knesset in Amman on Sunday that King Abdullah will visit the Palestinian territories shortly and that he studies the possibility of visiting Israel.
Khuder said "we do not have confirmed information but do not rule out to have such a thinking." The Jordanian King visited the Israeli prime minister in secret in March of 2004.
