Bin Laden calls on al-Zarqawi to target the American territories

One American official specialized in fighting terrorism disclosed that the leader of al-Qaida organization Osama Bin Laden called since a while on his main alley in Iraq and leader of al-Jihad Qaida organization in Mesopotamia to take part in attacks targeting the United States lands.

The official who asked to be anonymous explained in statements on Monday that contacts were made between Bin Laden and al-Zarqawi recently but he did not specify the way by which the two men contacted.

The American official said the recent contact did not include a specific threat against the US, rejecting giving details of fears to weaken the American efforts in its war against what is called terrorism.
