Syria: relations with Kuwait are deep

The Syrian-Kuwaiti ties are watching a remarkable development in all fields to meet the common desire of the two political leaderships in both states and reach to a progressive stage translating the popular aspiration to both, a report on Friday said.

"The depth of this relation and its distinction is made by the coordination and consultation over Arab, regional and international causes in harmony with the firm and consolidated stance to back the Arab issues mainly the Palestinian cause," a report by SANA on the 44th anniversary of Kuwait's national day and 14th anniversary of Kuwait's liberation said.

It pointed out at both countries concordance over the establishment of the just and compressive peace in the region which is based on Israel's pullout from occupied Arab lands in accordance with the relevant international legitimacy resolutions.

Another proof of the two countries ties strength is the Syrian Arab forces participation in the Kuwait's liberation, that is remembered by Kuwaitis with all amity, the report said.

It noted that many agreements in culture and media domains as well investments encouragement and protection, tax evasion and so many others were emerged from the strong ties between them.

A big Syrian community is living in Kuwait to work in all sectors.

Kuwait on the other hand is cooperating with all Arab states in all domains because of its belief in the common Arab destiny and has been keen at the same time on backing and developing the Arab League, its apparatus and organizations.
