Damascus notifies British ambassador regret over Straw's statements

Syrian sources in Damascus said that the Syrian foreign ministry of Wednesday summoned the British ambassador to Damascus Peter Form to express regret "over the statements of the British foreign office secretary Jacque Straw who said on Wednesday that there is "suspicion" on the involvement of Syria in the assassination of Rafic Hariri.
The Syrian authorities expressed to the British ambassador "regret" over Straw statements, noting that "this affects the relations between the two countries."
