Morocco-Iran, Local, 2/23/2005
Morocco's King Mohammed VI gave instructions Tuesday to grant an emergency humanitarian aid to Iran following the earthquake that rocked Tuesday morning the province of Kerman, south-eastern Iran, killing at least 270 people and injuring 700 others.
The aid consists of medicines and first aid, the Moroccan Foreign Ministry said in a release, noting that the aid is an expression of the Moroccan people's solidarity with Iran in this tragedy.
