Lebanon, Politics, 2/23/2005
In Beirut, the leader of the Lebanese Progressive Socialist party, Walid Junblat, continued his attack against the Syrian and Lebanese authorities over the Rafic Hariri assassination.
He called on the leader of the Lebanese Hizbullah party Hassan Nasrullah to join the opposition.
Junblat said that Nasrullah, who called on the opposition to resort to dialogue as a way to solve the crisis, "is a great Lebanese who liberated the Lebanese territories from Israel, so let him join the vehicle of those who want freedom and independence."
