Chirac, Saudi crown prince discuss Lebanese developments

In a telephone call on Sunday evening, the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz discussed with the French President Jacque Chirac bilateral relations and the regional situation.
The Saudi official news agency said that Abdullah and Chirac discussed "relations between the two sisterly countries and recent developments in the region during their talks which was made at the initiative of the French President." According to the Middle East News Agency, the telephone call dealt with developments of conditions in Lebanon in light of the assassination of the Lebanese prime minister Rafic Hariri.
