New Jordanian ambassador arrives in Israel

The new Jordanian ambassador arrived on Sunday to Tel Aviv after a four year absence because of the Palestinian- Israeli conflict, according to a spokeswoman for the Jordanian embassy.
The new Jordanian ambassador Marwan al-Bakheit is to submit a copy of his credentials later this week to the Israeli foreign minister Silvan Shalom.
Both Egypt and Jordan decided to return back their ambassadors to Tel Aviv during Sharm al-Sheikh summit which was held by the beginning of this month in the framework of a series of measures considered by the two countries as giving a push forward to the peace process in the Middle East.
