Report on oil production export consumption

Egypt's Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif received a report from Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmi on his Ministry's plan on production, export and local consumption from the period of 2005 to 2010.
Sources at the cabinet said the report indicated that the total production of oil and natural gas will go up in 2005/2006 from 75 million tones to 100 million and the petrochemicals from 680000 tones to 5.97 million during the same period.
The report mentioned to a rise in exports mainly of the crude oil and its by-products from $4350 million in 2005/2006 to $ 5535 million in 2009/2010 and also the natural gas exports from $ 2 billion to 2.7 billion.
