Berri: Lebanese parliamentary election will take place on time

Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabeh Berri stressed Friday that the parliamentary elections will take place as scheduled. "Efforts will be intensified to fulfill the elections law before the end of the current month," Berri said in a statement.
Joint Lebanese parliamentary committees will hold successive sessions next week headed by Deputy Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Michael al-Murr to discuss projects of the elections law and the budget for the electoral campaigns.
