Annan orders investigations in the Hariri assassination

News reports in New York said that the UN secretary general Kofi Annan issued a statement on dispatching a UN security team to Lebanon within days in order to investigate in the assassination of the former Lebanese prime minister Rafic Hariri.
The statement said that Annan's decision came at the request of the UN Security Council. Deputy commander of the Irish national police "Peter Fix Jazwold" was chosen to preside over the delegation which will make contacts in Lebanon to submit a report to the UN Security Council.
