President Khatami of Iran vows support to Syria

Iranian President Sayed Mohammed Khatami stressed Thursday that Iran stands by Syria as well as supports her "fair demands." "Iran has been standing by Syria and supporting her fair demands of getting back the occupied Golan and establishing the just and comprehensive peace in the region," President Khatami said.
That was during a meeting between the Iranian president and Syria's Prime Minister Naji Otari where they reviewed results of the mutual recent meetings between the two sides.
