Nasrallah: Lebanon could never be hostile to Syria
Lebanon-Syria, Politics, 2/17/2005
Secretary General of Hizbullah in Lebanon said Tuesday Hariri supported the establishment of excellent fraternal relations with Syria, stressing that "Lebanon could never be hostile to Syria."
In a speech on Tuesday, Hasan Nasrallah depicted the assassination of Former Premier Rafic Hariri as a real national catastrophe.
He added that Hariri was a great leader with a key role in al-Taef accord which was considered an internal Lebanese settlement under Syrian and other Arab states' sponsorship to help Lebanon get over the long term civil war.
Nasrallah called for a constructive dialogue to foil all attempts to destabilize Lebanon and inspire sedition, adding that foreign intervention will increase difficulties among the Lebanese.
