Solana and the Situation in the Middle East

EU Higher Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy said on Wednesday the situation in the Middle East is very dangerous.
During a lunch banquet held in honor of delegations participating in the Euro-Med economic cooperation conference, Javier Solana called for being aware of this danger to reach a solution that secures a comprehensive peace. He added that the most important thing is making a Middle East free from weapons of mass destruction, promising to tackle the issue of Israeli arsenals later.
