Bloody attacks in Iraq

Iraq on Wednesday witnessed bloody incidents because of which several Iraqis were killed including members of the Iraqi security forces in attacks and clashes in various areas of the country.
In Baqouba, nine Iraqis were killed in clashes that erupted on Wednesday evening between gunmen and the Iraqi police forces. Iraqi medical sources said the clashes resulted also in killing one policeman and two gunmen in "al-Muhandiseen"( Engineers ) quarters.
Seven members of the Iraqi security men were killed in clashes in Samera to the north of Baghdad, the most violent in recent weeks, according to officials in the Iraqi army. The police found 8 bodies one of them is beheaded, with four of them believed to be for foreigners, according to security sources.
In Baghdad, the Higher Council For The Islamic Revolution in Iraq announced the killing of one of its members Fayez al-Asheel in an attack launched by gunmen against his house. One person was killed and other two injured in Musil in an attack which targeted the procession of one official in the Kurdistani Democratic Party.
