Delegation of Turkish News Agency in al-Quneitra
Syria-Turkey, Politics, 2/16/2005

Head of Turkish News Agency CIHAN, Camal Biatly, on Tuesday underlined depth of relations between the two peoples, indicating that the delegation will transmit facts on occupied Syrian Golan through CIHAN Agency to the whole world.

Al-Quneitra Governor Nawaf al-Fares stressed the importance of media's role in highlighting suffering of the Syrian people in occupied Golan and their difficult circumstances due to the Israeli occupation.

Mr. Fares pointed out to the Israeli oppressive practices against the Syrian people, showing that the Israeli forces have destroyed 244 village and farm and established as an alternative several Israeli settlements.

The delegation toured in Quneitra city and briefed on the effects of the wild destruction by the Israeli occupation forces before its withdrawal.
