Israel returns the remains of 15 Palestinians

Thousands of Palestinians welcomed in Gaza the return back of the remains of 15 Palestinians Israel handed over to the Palestinian authority on Monday.

The remains of the killed Palestinians were taken by the Palestinian ambulances where Palestinians relatives to the these Palestinians lined up in addition to scores Palestinians representing various Palestinian groups near Beit Hanoun crossing (Erez) to the north of Gaza to welcome the remains. The remains were taken to the square of the Palestinian legislative council in Gaza and then to their houses before burial.

The Palestinian minister of health Jawad al-Teibi called on Israel to hand over the remains of all Palestinians. Palestinian official estimates say that at "least there are 70 Palestinian martyrs in the Israeli cemetery of numbers." The spokesman for the Islamic resistance movement ( Hamas) Mushir al-Masdri attributed the return back of the 15 bodied to resistance.

On the other hand, one Israeli military source said that the bodies were a paper for negotiations in case the activists carry out their threats to kidnap Israeli soldiers, denying that Israel has more remains for Palestinian activists.

At the time when the Palestinians were celebrating this step which would enhance the position of the French President Mahmoud Abbas in fixing the reciprocated truce between Israel and the Palestinian resistance groups, the Israeli occupation forces killed one Palestinian in al-Khalil under the pretext that he was trying to stab an Israeli soldier in the city which is situated to the south of the West Bank.

Last Thursday in which Palestinians were killed by the bullets of the occupation soldiers, the Palestinian resistance fired missiles and shelling at settlements to the south of Gaza.
