Al-Rai al-Am: Kuwait: Minister of the interior denies al-Anzi death because of torture

The Kuwaiti minister of the interior Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah on Thursday denied that the leader of armed Islamic cell Amer al-Anzi had died of torture in prison. The minister of the Interior told al-Rai al-Am daily that al-Azi's death "was not a result of torture as alleged by some and that the report of the "legal doctor will prove that."
He added "those who campaign that al-Anzi died because he was tortured have no evidences and that the report of the "legitimate medicine" will prove that the death is a result of a decline in the blood circulation."
