Rumsfeld in Musil

The US defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld arrived today in Musil, in the north of Iraq, in an undeclared visit. News reports said that the visit aims to "personally commend" the performance of the American and Iraqi forces during the elections on January 30th.
The spokesman for the Defense Department told reports accompanying Rumsfeld that the Rumsfeld wants to "know about the successes of the general elections which took place in Iraq, in person, and the developments in training the Iraqi security forces." He will be also making consultations with the American military leaders there in order to discuss the operations of fighting the armed groups.
