Al-Assad Receives a Message from Putin

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received on Wednesday a message from his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to express appreciation of President al-Assad's recent visit to Russia and deal with developments in the Mideast peace process.
"Putin expressed in the message high appreciation of the state visit made by President al-Assad to Moscow and its outcome. It included latest development of the Mideast peace process and bilateral relations," a presidential statement said. This has come during the meeting of President Bashar al-Assad and Chairman of the Russian Chamber of Trade and Industry in Federal Russia Yevgeny Primakove.
