Moroccan MPs urge British peers to help release prisoners in Tindouf
Morocco-UK, Politics, 2/9/2005

Parliamentarians from Morocco's Southern Provinces on Monday urged their British peers to endeavour for the release of Moroccans still detained in the Polisario-controlled Tindouf camps (south-western Algeria).

This came at a meeting with a visiting British delegation of MPs from the Foreign Relations Committee of the British House of Commons, who were briefed on the tragic situation of these Moroccans who are sequestered in those camps by the Algeria-backed separatist movement Polisario that is claiming the separation of Morocco's southern provinces, known as the Sahara.
