Bakradoni rejects resolution 1559

Lebanese leader of al-Kata'eb party (Phanalagists party) Karim Bakradoni on Tuesday renewed rejection of the UN resolution 1559. "UN resolution 1559 caused a national division that threatened our national unity.. it is a beginning of disturbance which could lead us to the unknown," the Lebanese official said during a press conference held at the party's building in Beirut.
He stressed that Syria constitutes a factor of stability and balance in Lebanon, expressing adherence to al-Taif Agreement and calling on opposition sides to "return to the national firm stances of Lebanon."
