Sharon renews conditions

The Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon repeated his conditions on the need of halting all Palestinian resistance operations as a precondition for Israel to halt its military operations everywhere. Sharon demanded to halt what he called violence and the Palestinian authority to move against what he described as violence.
The Israeli prime minister also stressed that hundreds of Palestinian prisoners will be released in the course of what he called the series of understandings with the Palestinian side, bringing back calm and security for the two peoples.
