Pakistani Information Minister Rashid Ahmed: No link between Egypt, Abdul-Qader Khan's network

A western diplomatic source at the UN headquarters in Vienna denied any link between Egypt and the Pakistani scientist Abdul Qader Khan who used to run a network for selling the nuclear technology in the black market.
The sources stressed that Egypt has never resorted to obtain nuclear technology illegally and contrary to the treaty of banking the nuclear proliferation, pointing out that Egypt's clear stance in supporting the nonproliferation of the nuclear technology as well as freeing the world, especially the Middle East from weapons of mass destruction and a top of which the nuclear weapons in addition to the peaceful natural of the Egyptian nuclear program.
Meanwhile, Pakistani Information Minister Rashid Ahmed dismissed reports on what was published in the US Time Magazine that Khan has sold nuclear technology to Egypt and Saudi Arabia and described these allegations as "baseless."
