Bloody day in Iraq, 30 were killed on Monday

Number of persons killed in the two suicide attacks which targeted the Iraqi police in Musil and Baqouba increased to 30 and scores of injured. Al-Jihad al- Qaida organization in Mesopotamia which is led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi claimed responsibility for the two attacks.

In a statement issued on the Internet, the organization threatened to launch more attacks against what it called "the traitors and their masters." This attack of Monday is considered the most violent since the making of the elections.

Meantime, Ansar al-Sunnah army group claimed responsibility for killing one Iraqi translator working with the American forces and issued on the Internet pictures of the killing process.

The "1920s revolution groups," the military wing of the national Islamic resistance in Iraq, claimed responsibility for one operation that targeted the headquarters of the American forces in Abu Ghreib prison to the west of Baghdad by mortar fire with a video tape about the operation. Smoke columns were seen coming from inside the prison.
