Europe: we differ with the US on how to democratize Syria

The European Union announced yesterday that it differs with the USA on ways to reach the establishment of democratization in Syria and Iran.
The spokeswoman for the European commission for external relations Emma Odwin said in Brussels "we can agree with the Americans on need to establish democracy in these two countries, but we have a different means to implement our policy."
Odwin confirmed she knew about the statements of the US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice in which she said that there will be no American attacks on Iran. She added "we continue our special policies with Iran and Syria with the aim of approaching them to give a push forward to reforms." She recalled that the European Union cling during its discussions with Iran to reaching an agreement in the field of trade and cooperation.
