Two American soldiers were killed in south Baghdad, Musil

The American army announced the killing of two of its soldiers to the south of Baghdad and near Musil in the north.

A statement for the American forces said that one American Marine was killed during his participation in the operations for establishing peace and security in Babel governorate.

In Musil, the American army said that one soldier was killed and another injured when their vehicle hit a bomb implanted on the roadside to the south of Musil.

Attacks have been also escalated in various parts of Iraq after its pace decreased temporarily. Scores of the Iraqi army and police were injured as a result of attacks against them.

Two American soldiers were also killed in what was described as a security operation in al-Anbar governorate.
