Syria-Lebanon, Economics, 2/4/2005

Syrian-Lebanese Committee for Medicine on Thursday held talks on the pharmaceutical relations between the two states and the pursuance of implementing a protocol on bilateral relations in medical products.

Present at the meeting were Lebanese Minister of Health Muhammad Khalifa and Syrian Deputy Health Minister Muna Qattini.

Meanwhile, Lebanese municipality of Jib Jenin in the Lebanese region of Bekaa received Thursday 12.000 forest plants from Syria to be planted in the town.

Next week Syria will also offer same quantity of plants to the Agricultural Development Association in Bekaa to be distributed to the nearby towns.
