Arab Jerusalem newspaper and al-Assad's visit to Moscow

Arab Jerusalem Newspaper on Thursday described President Bashar al-Assad's visit to Russia last month as historic, adding it was very important on the Arab and international levels.

The newspaper said that President al-Assad had a clear and keen sight when he chose the time and place of the visit. "The visit made a landmark shift in relations between Syria and Russia which began to restore its leading role in the world decision," the newspaper editor Anwar Qasem said in his article.
