Mubarak, Qathafi discuss Arab issues over phone

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak received a phone call from Libyan Leader Muammar al-Qathafi Wednesday to review the outcome of the African Union (AU) summit, held in Abuja two days ago, as well as bilateral relations.
Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Soliman Awwad said the two leaders held consultations on clearing the Arab atmosphere before the convocation of the coming Arab summit in Algiers, slated for March.
