Rohani, US threats and nuclear file
Iran-USA, Politics, 2/1/2005
Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Hassan Rohani, has underlined that the U.S. can't launch any military attack against Iran because of the international circumstances and internal situation in Iran.
In an interview yesterday evening with Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA) Rohani said "The US threats against Iran are because of Washington's annoyance of development of Iran's relations with Europe and the increase of volume of trade exchange between them."
He added that Iran has achieved positive results on the political and legal levels regarding Iran's nuclear file which has passed through critical stages.
Without naming the country, Rohani concluded that "Some states, which have dealt with Iran in the past, offered secret information to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) pertaining to Iran's nuclear activities."
