Several Muslim Brothers members arrested in Egypt

The Egyptian security forces on Monday arrested 9 leading figures of the Ikhwan al-Muslimin (Muslim Brothers) groups in al-Sharqia governorate to the north east of Cairo after breaking into their houses and inspecting them.

In a statement, the Muslim Brothers groups in Egypt said that the security forces which broke into the houses confiscated large number of books and printed items and personal computers, owned by its members.

The statement explained that its 9 detained members are two doctors, two engineers, one university teacher and 4 state civil servants.
