Syrian Airlines endorses agreement with Lebanese ME airlines

The board of the Syrian Airlines on Sunday endorsed the statute of the Air Taxi project which is to be launched jointly with its Lebanese counterpart, The Middle East airlines, and the private sectors of both states.
Syria and Lebanon will have equal shares and the private sector will have 51 percent of the project that mounts to SP 500 millions which will be divided into 100 hundred thousand stocks the value of each is SP 5000.
In a statement to reporters Director of the Syrian Air Est. Nashat Nmair, said that the statute is scheduled to be signed officially during the meetings of the Syrian-Lebanese Higher Committee this week.
The new company, he pointed out, will carry the name of Phoenician Air and will be established according to the Investment Law in Syria.
