Shark: Iranian Defense Minister warns of US trouble making in the region

Iranian Defense Minister Ali Shamkhani has condemned the expansionist policy adopted by Israel against the Palestinian people and states of the region.

" This policy forms a big danger and threat on security and stability in the region." The minister said in an interview with Iranian newspaper Shark.

He added that his country's policy is built on having a united, independent, free and democratic Iraq that enjoys good-neighbor relations with all neighboring countries.

He refuted accusations of some Iraqi officials that Iran interferes in Iraq's interior affairs.

Shamakhani clarified that the U.S. has failed in Iraq, it couldn't achieve stability and security calling on states and peoples of the region to be cautious and to work for facing the US maneuvers aiming at instigating disturbance in order to guarantee its presence in the region.
