Albright against imposing reforms on ME
Regional-USA, Politics, 1/28/2005
The Former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright stressed that reform cannot be imposed from outside on any other country, "Every country must choose its suitable pattern freely not through the military intervention," Albright said.
In a statement published Thursday by the Kuwaiti newspaper 'Al-Rai Al-Aam', Albright expressed satisfaction that the administration of the U.S. President George W. Bush has understanding that Washington cannot work alone but it has to cooperate with all the countries of the world and that should happen in the second term of President Bush in office. Albright underlined that political reform should parallel economic reform.
