India shares Syria positions over the region

Indian Ambassador in Damascus Arif S. Khan said Wednesday that India shares Syria her vision and attitude over all causes that trouble the region.

"Our country supports the Arab people in his struggle to guarantee the legitimate rights according to the Security Council's resolutions and Land For Peace Principle," the ambassador said in a word on the 56th anniversary of the Indian national day pointing out that Syria has a main role in achieving the "Just and Comprehensive Peace" in the Middle East.

He assured that bilateral relations between Syria and India had witnessed a new improvement during the last ten years in fields of policy, economy, science, technology, information, agriculture, culture, literature and education.

"ÉOur relations are based on the exchanged respect and civilized links," the ambassador added, stressing the deep relation that connected the two countries.
