Four Palestinians killed by the Israeli forces
Palestine-Israel, Military, 1/27/2005
Three Palestinian activists were killed and a fourth was seriously injured as the Israeli forces opened their machine-gun fire at them in Qalqilya to the north of the West Bank.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli forces killed a three-year old Palestinian female child when it opened fire at Palestinians who were throwing stones in Deir al-Balah area in the downtown of Gaza. The Palestinian child Rahma Abu Shammas was killed by one fire bullet while she was near her house. Three Palestinians were injured in the operation.
In a new development, Israeli military sources said that the people of east Jerusalem who tolled 235,000 Palestinians, will need permits from the Israelis to enter Ramullah and other areas of the West Bank as from July, the date of completing the building of the wall of separation.
The sources said that the way to Ramullah via the military check point of Qilindia will be converted into a crossing similar to that of Beit Hanoun and therefore the Palestinians can not use it. The sources explained that a decision issued in November 2000 bans the bearers of the blue Israeli identity -- including the Arab citizens of Jerusalem -- from entering areas of the Palestinian authority because many of the bearers of this identity were killed during the Intifada.
