Morocco, Politics, 1/26/2005
The Moroccan human rights association (AMDH/independent) said it has no official nor semi-official spokesperson abroad, denying a news items by French agency "AFP" that quotes what it calls an AMDH spokesman abroad.
AMDH distances itself from the AFP news item that claims that the association requests the presence of European observers in the public hearings it is planning to hold on human rights breaches in Morocco.
The association's central bureau says Mohamed Souhaili, the man quoted in this news items, is a political refugee in France and insists that it has no spokesperson abroad.
