Israeli forces invade Toulkarem, resistance bombards Gaza settlement

More than 40 Israeli military vehicles invaded Sida village, to the north of Toulkarem in the West Bank, and imposed curfew and confiscated one school and several houses and evacuated many of them and converted them into military barracks, threatening to demolish houses of Palestinian activists.

This coincided with the announcement made by al-Aqsa martyrs groups that a group of the squad of martyr Hussein Obbeiat bombarded Nafe Dekalim settlement in Gaza by al-Muntasir missile on Monday evening. It said in a statement that warning sirens were heard inside the settlement and that the occupation forces opened fire indiscriminately and intensively in the region.

On the other hand, special units from the Palestinian police in Gaza started a demolishing campaign of installations built on the city's coast under the pretext they are violations of government's lands.

One official in campaign in Gaza said that this operation came at the order of the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, in the course of several decisions to enhance the influence of the Palestinian Authority and the supremacy of the law, deployment of security and stability in the Palestinian territories.

In this regard, an Israeli military source disclosed other security meetings between the Israelis and the Palestinians will be held very soon.
